Psalm 38:7-11

⁷ My back is filled with searing pain;^(A)
    there is no health^(B) in my body.
⁸ I am feeble and utterly crushed;^(C)
    I groan^(D) in anguish of heart.^(E)

⁹ All my longings^(F) lie open before you, Lord;
    my sighing^(G) is not hidden from you.
¹⁰ My heart pounds,^(H) my strength fails^(I) me;
    even the light has gone from my eyes.^(J)
11 My friends and companions avoid me because of my wounds;^(K)
    my neighbors stay far away.
